We're heading to Alaska in a few weeks, on a cruise.
We'll begin in Vancouver, and travel to Juneau over the course of seven days, then spend two days there. Sounds like a good time, save for the weather... So far it looks like it's going to rain every day.
We'll be there during the Summer Solstice, which is the longest day of the year. during this time of year, Alaska has twenty-hour days, and four-hour nights!! I'm told there is no true darkness... it's more like dusk.
I've never been to Alaska, and am really looking forward to the scenery.
